Flag to the top - with roots deep in the ground and eyes forward

In 2025 we celebrate 80 years - from humble roots in Birkeland to a solid and future-oriented timber company with deliveries far out into the world.

Dear reader,

In 2025 we will celebrate 80 years – and we do so with gratitude and pride. From small roots in Birkeland to a solid and future-oriented wood products company with deliveries all over the country and far into the world. Much has changed, but one thing remains the same: We are proud of who we are – and what we stand for. The flag is at the top, and we still say: Every building its own flagpole!

In our fourth year in new premises, we are well established, and possible expansions are on the horizon as the number of orders continues to increase. More and more customers are demanding complex and customized solutions – and it is precisely these challenges that drive us forward. We solve the customer's needs.

Exciting things are also happening internationally. With the weak krone exchange rate and increased steel prices in the USA, wood is becoming increasingly attractive, and interest from our foreign customers is growing. This gives us both courage and opportunities.

But to be successful in the future, we depend on good frameworks. The fact that local authorities continue to focus on port traffic and frequent departures means a lot. It keeps us competitive – and customer-friendly.

We believe in wood as part of the climate solution – both through smarter and increased use of wood. Future plans include opportunities for mortgage solutions on flagpoles and other Aanesland wood. Everything has a value – even that which has done its job.

The collaboration with our sister company Sørlaminering gives us both professional and human strength, and the synergy makes us flexible and gives us the opportunity to be a good partner for our customers.

In fact, we never say no. We say YES!
