The Cicignon School, known as the "Yellow Institution" in Fredrikstad, includes buildings from 1867, 1923, and 1974, with much of the façades preserved as heritage structures. In January 2009, the school was fully rehabilitated and expanded at a cost of 251 million NOK. The total rehabilitation covered 5,500 m², while the new construction added 3,300 m². Aanesland Treindustri provided glulam elements for both the interior and exterior of the school extension.
