HasleTre is an innovative project and the world’s first office building designed for disassembly and circular use. By using wood-to-wood joints instead of steel, both the structure and assembly are simplified, while future reuse becomes more efficient. We have produced and installed ceiling elements in spruce, totaling 2,600 m², with elements 60 cm wide and 240–320 cm long. All slats were treated with white-pigmented oil and then fire treated. The solution is both cost-effective to produce and easy to install.
