The steep mountains that plunge straight into the sea are an overwhelming sight, and the most striking feature of the stretch. The road winds in and out along the deep fjords and through villages that cling firmly between the strips of mountain and sea. Just as dramatic as the Okshornan peak range rises from the sea, Senja is just as harmonious with its idyllic islets and skerries in Bergsfjord. Detours from the road to the fishing villages of Husøy, Bøvær and Mefjordvær are great experiences. On this stretch, Aanesland has supplied benches and a ramp to the Tungeneset rest area, a viewing platform with an arch in Bergsbotn, at Erfjordstranda we have supplied benches belonging to the gold building, and we have supplied the toilet building in Mefjordvær.
